Breathwork

Breathwork is a simply defined as a consious breathing meditation technique that allows one to explore their inner consiousness. What sets it apart from other personal devleopment healing is that it works and deals with both the mental and emotional parts of any issue.

 

Breathwork is the ultimate in body-mind healing and psychotherapy. It is a powerful transformative process which helps bring change in your life. It also allows for amazing heart openings and is a great clearing process by breaking down and dissolving your limiting decisions, freeing yourself from being attached to past events and traumas, bringing yourself to connect to your inner being.

 

Breathwork is based on a breathing manner that is energetic, through the mouth connecting the inhale with the exhale in a constant manner for around 60 minutes. As you connect the inhale with the exhale you bridge the gap between the conscious mind and the unconscious mind, allowing you to re-experience suppressed emotions and memories. 



As the defensive barrier between the conscious and unconsious breakdown and dissolves, you start to become aware of the deeply buried, powerful and painful emotions which have been lodged and stored in the physcial body and associated with personality forming beliefs.

 

These Personality forming beliefs and painful emotions create the following symptoms until released and cleared from the physical body -

 

  • Physical Disease, muscle/organ ailments, physical pains.

  • Low Self Esteem and poor self image.

  • Monkey Mind thinking or constant merry-go round thoughts

  • Insomnia or sleep too much

  • Tiredness and lack of vitality or energy

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Stress related symptoms

 

 

Breathwork works a level of the unconscious where traditional forms of counselling and therapy cannot access:

 

  • Conception, in-between lives and past lives

  • Womb experience

  • Birth Experience

  • The first 3 years of life

 

 

Cellular Memories

 

 

Our Body cells contain their own memories and are a repository of past experiences; both positive and negative experiences. When our cells are storing negative experiences it has an effect on our lives  and shows up as a physical or emotional block. This places an unconscious block that stops us from acting or doing things that has a positive impact on our lives. Breathwork allows the the negative cellular memories to be released from our bodies so they no longer have an impact on lives, behavior and emotional states.

 

Emotional Release Breathwork is the ultimate in emotional and trauma healing, breaking down the layers of built up emotion to get to the core of the issue like no other modality can. As you feel into and release these built up and stuck emotions you are no longer burdened in carrying them in your psyche leaving you more room and energy to live your life. This is true transformation!

 

 

 

Brain Wave States - Alpha / Theta.

 

According to Dr Jim Hardt, trauma decreases our ability for our brain to achieve higher brain waves such as Alpha & Theta waves. When we experience trauma our body naturally protects itself by minimising energy flow. It does this by minimising or stopping the breath. By shallow breathing it allows us to block and store the trauma in our muscles and body cellular memory. It also decreases oxygen flow to the brain and therefore decreases our ability to obtain Alpha & Theta brain waves. This is to stop us from remembering the events that have caused us pain. With the inability to achieve higher brain wave states we keep ourselves locked in the same cycle. Alpha and Theta wave states allows us to think outside the box.

Unblock your Heart - Feel Good​

When we stop ourselves from feeling and experience negative emotions, out heart will become blocked. Surprisingly when we start blocking negative emotions and experiences, our good feelings start getting blocked. Over time we the ability to experience and have good feelings become less and less. The energy in our body becomes suppressed and stagnate. The ability for energy to flow in our body becomes markedly decreased. Emotions and feelings take energy to experience and feel. This means that without a good flowing energetic body, the ability experience good feelings such as happiness, joy, passion and love becomes less likely.

The heart is t he feeling center of our consciousness, it's what bridges the gap between our body and the higher states of our consciousness.
